  I had tested the ability of firebase with a very small mmo demo.

  Each client will communicate to some other clients by firebase. A game server might be another kind of client which control NPC or other system events.

  This would be another use-case of headless exporter, since this game server does not need UI. So any user could use C2 to create game server, and run at node.js (without any database -- firebase is a database already)

  Run in browser also fine for developing stage I guess.

  It's cool, to integrate capx file into IDE, i.e. gui controller (plugin) in event sheet which could be loaded into editor.

  So users could have their custom C3 gui interface.

  Event sheets are composed by events and plugins, and any plugin might composed by other plugins and some events. Run at edittime (editor) and runtime (application).

  Or editor is just another kind of runtime.

  Please move this thread to "Completed Addons" section. You might rename it to rex_firebase" in the plugins list, because that there already had another firebase plugin.

  I still trt to add new related plugins in to this thread.

  Online - moving on a very big map ( Capx)

  • Enter display name at top text box, then click a character at bottom 5 characters to enter map.
  • press arrow-key to move left/right/top/down, or dragging left/right/top/down to move.
  • Online players will be shown at bottom with name and current position.
  • You might try open more than one page to test it.

  It might be a very simple mmo, I guess. The server is firebase, see this thread.

  Edit:

  Each room is 10x10, whole map is 256x256.

  I disagree. Well designed plugins pluse better gui event editor environment will be more clean than raw code.
