  In my example, I only use one attracting point in the same time, to make the attracting source/direction clearly. It might be another thing you have to watch out in your case.

  There has one problem: what is the behavior (i.e. AI) of your car?- When to speed up, when to slow down, when to turn left/right. This plugin only provides an advice according to current environment.

  It is possible to make the car not too closed to other cars (not collision free).

  See the first demo of this plugin, the ship will try to fly to the target without hit these rocks.

  Querying feature is the weakness in firebase, although firebase had added more functions in querying.

  So my sloution is firebase (for real-time) + parse (for static data), it is another story...

  Firebase does not support random picking directly. User needs to fetch all items then picking in local. But this solution might not efficient since it fetch all items back.

  So that I made another plugin for picking with conditions (expression) - rex_firebase_itemfilter, it saved each key of item and the properties into individual nodes. Call "Action:Get random items" to get keys of random items (dataset), then fetch these items by keys in other plugin like rex_firebase. (rex_firebase_itemfilter only used to get keys)

  There is another rex_firebase_itemtable for storing item (dataset) in 1d hash table.

  "Action:Pick all instances", "Action:Pick matched instances" or "Condition:Pick instances", "Condition:Pick matched instances" might be the solution. It needs to assign nickname for object type first, too.

  Or you might use private variable to pick matched instances.

  Check this demo first -

  • Each line is composed of sprites and text object.
  • Drag the red box on a scroll bar at right to scroll the list. There are 100 lines in this list.
  • Drag the black box on the top of list to drag this list.
  • Click the check box (sprite) at left side of each line to select it. Selected lines will be shown on a text at right side.
  • Only the visible lines will be created. i.e. instances in invisible lines will be destroyed.

  • Dragging to scroll the list, others are the same as previous demo. There are 30 lines in the list.
