im still new to c2 so thats a little confusing sadly....
i have a crow character that i want to be flying in a specified area, but when the character gets within a certain distance/ line of sight, the crow seeks the player and swoops down. exactly like the enemy in this video at 16 seconds

i just tried both of your attempts to fix the issue but its still happening
in my file when the player moves a certain distance after the start of level, the screen/bg/player sprite all get buggy...... please help.....here is the capx

The page where I put all my coding, do I need a new one for each level? Or specific events?
For instance if I have a boss battle should the code have it's own page?
Should each level have it's own coding?
Christmas ok after i fix that, is the sizing i have it set up to right? Like when the player goes down lower the background doesnt continue down and same for up.....iv looked for help but cant find any answers

my tiled backgrounds are seamless and yet they show up with a seam when the player gets to them..... also, am idoing it right by scaling the image down to the screen size or does it have to go a different way? thank you
