  • well, yes, that's what I did, but that doesn't answer question, how to stick layout editor to event sheet editor, so when you change layout editor to layout 2, event sheet editor changes automatically to layout 2 also.

  • ah, ok, it was layer set to transparent, while "clear background" set to "no" in project, so the layer was there on not cleared background visible through the layer. can be closed as not a bug.

  • I couldn't reproduce it in an empty project also, so I'll stick with 50. If I figure out what is causing this I'll post capx here.

  • I believe the maximum layer opacity should be 100, so I did a simple layer opacity fade in from 0 to 100 and the layer looked like it was displayed two times, so I lowered max opacity to 50 and got full visible layer like it's set to 100 :) strange :)

  • I recently discovered I can split C2 ui into two vertical "windows" one (left in my case) contains layout view, other one (right) event sheet. Is there a possibility to tie them together, so when I change layout displayed in the left window, right one refreshes it self to display event sheet for that layout? right now I have to change them manually. just a suggestion, it would ease up multilayout games a lot.

    How long did it take to make this?

    hard to say, as this was my learn'n'create game, so lot's of things i just tested if it's possible to do them and removed, original version even had accelerometer bouncing (tilt right to bounce farther and lower, tilt left to bounce higher but with less speed) - but this was removed. the whole game probably could be done from the scratch in one week if it was the only thing you're doing say full 5hrs / day.

    I would love if you made a tutorial for setting up sound on here too.ell this was a very long way to make audio work, basically you need eclipse environment and low latency audio plugin for phonegap, and call javascript from c2 to play low latency audio loaded files. you have to be somewhat familiar with android native code and javascript to make this kind of export, but all of this can be learned from phonegap's "getting started" website step by step. that's how I did it :) good luck!

    Also I noticed some other games made by you in the android market, did you use Construct to make those too?

    yes, every single one of them was made in C2. right now I'm working on multiplayer PvP dice game, I will post it in "Your Creations" when done :)

  • thanks. I'd be more than happy if scirra would somehow promote furries as I think it's a quite good example of finished, polished and well made app (I'm so modest ;) Maybe on scirra's Facebook or twitter channel? I see arcade apps promoted there quite often :) Ashley ? :)

    As for the fullscreen, no magic there, simple fullscreen in browser (scale mode) and some layers (gui) with scaling set to 0,0 with anchors.

  • Hey! I've downloaded Sim Stone, not overly sure what it does yet but it looks nice haha

    Anyway, quick question... Could you please tell me how you tackled supporting multiple screen sizes.

    I've read all of the guides, set fullscreen crop/scale, used phonegap/appmobi and posted multiple questions on the forum and still no luck.

    If you have a minute can you please let me know what is the project size set to in C2 and which fullscreen mode did you use?

    Thanks in advance for any help. I used 800,480 project and layout size, with unbounded scrolling with phonegap export through eclipse. on start of layout I create some helper global variables (like X position of left and right screen edges, Y position of top and bottom edges) and reposition + scale all objects according to them manually on creation or start of layout, depending when they are created. also lots of anchor behaviors. have fun, it only sounds quite complicated :)
