  If I understand you right - would you not be better just using a simple animation ?

  (for example - no laughing at the graphics !)

  If you are looking at something more complex then I think more information/capx is needed.

  For example - "Gears of war" on xbox 360, I had only slight reservations about the "excessive" violence in it (chainsawing adversaries ?) but the swearing was (if I remember right) turned off almost straight away.

  Just wondering if its just me but...

  Now this might be that I am just an old "fuddy duddy" but I do not like swearing in games but, possible worrying, I have no problems with (most) violence (perhaps because I was brought up viewing tom and jerry cartoons, or maybe it is time for me to go talk to a "trick cyclist" ?).

  So I ask, should games have an option to turn off or even tone down swearing ? Or put another way, ”What the hell do you think ?” rather than, ”What the f#*& do you think ?"

  I would pin the particles to the player but turn them off. Only turning them on when the player is jumping. Not on PC at the moment , I will try to post a capx later.

  In future it would be better to post a capx link and there is a beginner forum for these types of question now.

  two ways I can think of

  method 1 - give your bullet an instance variable set to 0. on collision with a wall add 1 to this instance variable. then when the instance variable gets to your limit (in this case 2) destroy it.this method destroys the bullet on second hit (in this case)

  method 2 - give your bullet a fade behaviour set to a low fade out of something like 0.25 and not active at start. on collision with wall start fade...you could also add a particles effect for the bullet strike

  personally I would also just go with making a button.

  changing font this way does not appear to work - I now think it is just falling back to a default font. Back to school for me <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

  as tulamide said it is just down to the offset (sine wave) and moving its start point up/across as needed - see attachment.

  as said in my first post - just add "is in touch" as an extra condition (in your case event 30)
