  • Thank-you, it worked perfectly

  • I wish to upload my game to a websever I own, but I don't wish to do this through the arcade, due to the game being unfinished and a lack of time. Is there any way to upload to a website without needing to host on either the arcade or something similar (such as chrome webstore). Thank you for any help.

  • Thank-you so much, this worked perfectly.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I have a problem, in this game when the player charecter (controlled with arrow keys) contacts enimies, they are supposed to lose health (health is controlled by a gobal variable). When the player loses all their health, they are set back to the begining and after a short pause the health is reset and the player can begin playing again.

    All of the above works fine, but after the first time the player 'dies' on each attempt afterwards (without closing and re-opening) the player has to run into the ennimies two times before damage starts being taken as useal.

    I have uploaded a copy of the (incompleate) game here:

    I am sorry for any spelling mistakes. Thankyou for any help you can give.

  • Okay, it looks fine when I preview. I'll try updating my graphic drivers.

    EDIT: Hasn't fixed the problem. It looks fine in the preview, but in the console I get the gaps.

    EDIT 2: I tried it on a much more powerful PC (so far I had been trying on a netbook) with the same image and it displayed in the console perfectly.

    By the way, could you tell me what I did wrong? I tried the other solutions, but they didn't seem to work. Thank-you.

  • I've followed the instructions for the top-down shooter to add the background but used my own image instead, and I got this:

    <img src="http://www3.picturepush.com/photo/a/8400686/640/8400686.png" border="0" />

    I checked the picture in Paint, and it had no white boarders. It is a PNG. Any help is very welcome, and I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum.
