  • My pleasure

I will turn it into a tutorial this week I hope.

Adding few more examples and make some optimisations for the 3:2 ratio.

Just wondering if you ever got the time to turn this into a tutorial?

  • Erndog2k Decided to compare old N64 specs to OUYA for a giggle. Then a thought occurred to me, OUYA presents a major opportunity for re-makes/re-releases of old games.

Then another thought occurred to me... emulators on android are becoming more stable all the time and this could allow OUYA to become almost any old console you want. The little OUYA could be a NES/SNES/N64/GB/Genisis/SGS/VB all in one little box.

    How awesome is that?

  • Thanks for the quick reply Ashley, that's great to hear. I can now press on in good faith that this feature will appear at some point down the line <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hi,

I've only started using C2 recently and I have to say it is a fantastic piece of kit, especially for such a young product.

My focus is mainly towards deployment on mobile platforms and as such, touch support is of great importance to me.

While the current support is generally good, I found the multitouch features to be lacking in one crucial(at least for me) area. That being the ability to identify and access properties of a specific touch.

E.g. If i want to have two fingers touching the screen and draw a line between those to fingers it's currently not possible. I would have to touch one location first, release and then touch the next location as I can only ever access the X & Y coordinates of the first touch when multiple fingers are on the screen.

Considering you are obviously putting a lot of effort into integrating deployment to mobile platforms, I was wondering if you intend to extend the functionality of the touch plugin?

    Is this something to look forward to in R100? <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Best Regards,

  • You're very welcome.

  • Hey, I was actually looking at this myself recently.

Be sure to always check the How Do I FAQ as it's a great resource and has a ton of questions like this that have already been answered.

Here's the specific link you're looking for: Varied power of jump

    Hope this helps <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • EDIT: Realised it states in the manual that touch.x currently isn't supported for multitouch.

    Please disregard.

  • Hi <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I'm a computer science student from Dublin, Ireland.

Having made a couple of games for Android in the past using pure Java, discovering C2 was a pretty sweet experience. I can prototype and develop much faster and with far fewer headaches.

Also, my eyes don't get tired half as quickly when looking at C2s interface as when I'm programming in Eclipse or some text editor... which is nice <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Bought a personal license for now.

Very pleased with it, especially impressed with cocoonjs performance. Still has quite a few issues but is showing real promise.

    Anyway, nice to meet you all <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
