  • What do you want to to happen to the sprite when it nears or touches the area just outside the layout?

    1. Stop / drop?

    or

    2. Reposition to a random spot within your layout?

    or

    3. Reposition to a specific location within the layout?

    Hi guys.

I know tutorials have been temporarily suspended due to the spammer issue,

but instead of completely suspending for it everybody,

couldn't you just make it so new member have to wait say 2 weeks before posting a tutorial?

I am sure the spammer account would be revealed and deleted before such a time.

    And just to be safe

maybe put a limit to how many tutorials all members can make to one per 24 hour period.

Also, maybe do the same with making new threads in the forum.

    Only X every 24 hours?

    Just a thought.

  • Did your game work before and now it doesn't?

  • The Arcade is in Beta so there are many problems.

    For example:

I recently had a problem with Sprite1 on collision with Sprite2 ( a very basic event right -- I only had one of these in my game luckily so it was fairly easy to debug)

and all I got was a white screen.

When I changed to overlapping it worked.

If you want to take the time, you could dissect your game and try to load up in the Arcade in smaller pieces to narrow down the event that is causing the problem.

Here is a temp Title to use, it is the proper dimensions 450 by 300

btw, I just got a light green screen when I tried your game..

  • Do you mean during game play?

is there an example of a game that does this, please provide a link.

  • If you consider this solved hugelarge333

then it is good practice to say in the Topic Subject

    <Solved>Movement problem

    in this case.

and yes, you don't need to adjust images to so precise. 400,80 or whatever is good enough

  • I think LittleStain means you should add a trigger once condition

    like this

some events are triggered once by default. They will have a green arrow (pointing to the right)

on the very left of the event next to the event number.

some events are triggered every tick by default. They won't have the arrow.
