  • Hello there.

I am working on a super-special-top-secret-indie-video-game and I have been wondering, is it possible to have cardboard-flip animations without having to pre-render them myself, and if yes, how?

If you do not know how cardboard-flip animations look like, they are the ones from the title screen of Portal 2.

  • Hello.

Yesterday, Apple announced their new Apple TV 4th Gen, and with it coming the newely released tvOS, that finally allowes developers to make and publish apps and games on the Apple TV via the App Store.

Being a Construct 2 Developer, I want to be able to publish my games to tvOS without the need to reimport my game into xcode, change some code and port it to tvOS, I just wanna be able to do it just by normally publishing it with Construct 2.

So, I request for the next update, tvOS publishing. Apple is already giving out SDKs and even full Apple TVs for developers.

    Thank you,

  • Right click on the event sheet, 'Create Global Variable'

    Thank you!!

  • You have to use a global variable to have access to a value from every layout.

And how do I make my Instance Variable a global one, again? I forgot :p

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hey there.

I am currently making a game with Construct 2, and I want to have a button in one layout to change a variable from an object from another layout with a value from another variable. I tried to do the normal thing, When 'Button Pressed' -> Set value from variable 'X', however, it doesn't work at all. I tried over and over with other options I could think of, it just doesn't work, I wasted 6 hours so far and NOTHING!!

    Please help me out.

  • Hello!

I am currently making a new logo for my game, and I was wondering if I allowed to use the slice of cake from the 'Quick and Easy' section in my logo, to represent that I am using Construct 2.

If you wonder why the slice of cake, it's because it looks nice next to the logo.

    Thanks.

    Thank you, that worked!!

  • Hello.

I have recently exported my game via nw.js, but I have noticed that it is not fullscreen, nor can you close it using the escape key or pressing an 'X' button. I am also unable to find any End/Close application actions, and I would love some help.

    I am running Construct 2 r209.

    Thank you.
