  • Hi!

I've released my little casual flappy game on Google Play Store:

    play.google.com/store/apps/details

Is a casual game conceived for mobile devices, in which you have to flutter up a little green alien avoiding enemies and obstacles. There is a score and money system that allow you to buy bonuses, continues etc…

Take a look and give me some feedback if you want!

    Have a nice day!

  • Wait, are u talking about an apk app? In this case the loader layout doesnt work, the solution is custom splashscreen...

  • pinellos thanks for reply

to me the idea of having black empty screen is not solid solution if you see top game in google play or app store no one of them use black screen or percentage text they use a professional splash screen that represent their logo studios or their logo publisher

i still believe that construct 3 should reach that level of professionality too

    ???

If your loader layout is made by a simple image and one event in event sheet the load time is the same as one of the "professional" splash screen in app about you talk... it is not a real issue, you have already full control about loader and splash screen...

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • pinellos set "Nothing" on "Loader Style" will make player think that the game is stuck or crush

people always want thinks to work fast they don't have to much patience

For the CSS i didn't find any tutorial explain how to do it + i'm non programmer probably i will suffer before figure out how to do that

    Thank you For your help

if the loader layout is only made by 1 img and 1 event, the load time is almost 0,0, then the final effect is:

    1) tap on the app icon by user

    2) 0.1 sec blak screen

    3) Loader layout, you can put all the loading bar/circle/pie u want...

    4) the game is loading under yout loader layout and...

    5) on load finished, start the game

  • LOADER LAYOUT AND SPLASH SCREEN

    Have you tried to:

    1) set "Nothing" on "Loader Style"

    2) make a Loader Layout with only the splash-screen image and a linked event sheet

    3) use "On loader layout complete" as only event in the linked event sheet with a "Go to next layout" as action

Or, i'm pretty sure that the Loader can be configured via CSS...

    Hello!

  • Is there any way to have GooglePlay plugin working in preview?

I've tried but nothing worked... Cut&paste from an old unanswered post from another user with the same problem:

The C3 manual in plugin reference -> google Play says:

To do this, in the Developer Console under Game details, find the header that says API CONSOLE PROJECT and follow the link to the API console project for your game. In the API console, select APIs & auth, then Credentials. Notice the Javascript Origins field contains only your final URL; this also needs to contain any preview URLs to be allowed access. Click Edit settings. Under Authorized Javascript Origins, make sure the final URL and the preview URL appear on separate lines.

I did not find the " Javascript Origins field". Has the path changed ? " Under Authorized Javascript Origins...". Where I find this ?

    Thanks.

  • Playstore page:

    play.google.com/store/apps/details

  • draw a smooth transition from ALL animations to each other

    ... and resulting in a "early-2000-flash-animation"

And I think it’s not quite right to say so - "You can do it, just draw." Not only will this add problems > to the game and so it will take even more time to implement and require great drawing skills. Not every

developer has it. Therefore came up with special programs that enhance the quality of games and simplify

their creation. They support a large number of engines, but not C3.

the illusion that a tool can make the job for you is... just an illusion :) I've tried many times, and in the end i've realized that the only thing you can do if you don't have artistic-skills and you need them, is: learn it! You may be surprised how faster a person can learn drawing and animating things :)

  • I i've knowledge and i've worked a lot with variuous engines, in Twine i've developed a little sub-framework to use objects and custom action, in Unity i'm developing an adventure game, in Godot have several side-learning-oriented-projects, and with Construct i've worked at a lot of games, a couple of this are on my website... So, i've a decent overview of these engines and all i can say is: if you want to have a finished 2D project in the fastest way, Construct is the best.

  • Woa, finally I managed to upload a new version of the demo on Scirra Arcade:

    scirra.com/arcade/action-games/qbos-adventures-33794

In the last months, when i tried to add a new game, the server says "Error in application /" etc etc..., so i've found a little workaround to solve this (if you want to read: https://www.construct.net/it/forum/scirra-website/website-issues-and-feedback-35/my-game-is-not-being-uploaded-136428#forumPost947558) and finally i've i done it!
