  • Great plugin. One feature request though. Is there any way that you could add the ability to set a direction property when the object (NPC in my case) is moving? That way we can use this for animation control. For example, if the object is moving left, I could read this from a variable and tell my sprite to play the "left" animation. Thanks in advance!

  • Bumping for visibility, does anyone have any idea on this?

  • I am using the runaway behavior plugin on a game that I am writing and it works great! The only problem I am having is that I can't read what direction the sprite is moving and then control the animation based on the direction. Does anyone know of a solution for this?

  • I'll try that out. Thanks!

  • Whenever I add a sprite to one of my projects, it is setting itself to be double the actual size. For example, if I import a 32x32 sprite, when the game is launched in the player, it will actually be 64x64. In the designer, everything looks fine, it is only when I run the game. I'm sure this is just a setting somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I did a couple of searches too without much luck. Any suggestions?

  • So, long story short, I want to make an old 2d style tile map for movement within my game. I've been looking around the forums for a while now and I haven't come across the best way to create a tile map in construct. From what I've seen, it seems that the best way may be to use a tool like Tiled, save it as an image, then set that to the background and build the objects and collisions on top of the map. Is this the best route? Or is there a better way to accomplish this?
