  • Hi Ashley,

I am a bit reluctant to dish out one licence for Construct 2 and another for Cocoon while prototyping. I may hit another snag further down...

Would someone -licensed- be kind enough to compile what I have done so far ? Christmas is coming soon, right ?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Well, its not a layout orientation pb only: when the screen rotate, the X & Y sensors become inverted. Really goofy stuff from the phone developers. Maybe they don't play games ?

  • Is there a way to prevent screen auto-orientation on HTML5 ? I have a prototype using Acceleration(X&Y)WithG and the native 'screen auto-rotate' constantly interfere.

  • Hi Ashley

I figured out this one, however, Cocoon claim to support HTML5 + JS.

    so, I'll keep on tweaking...

  • I try to test Cocoon with an HTML5 export from Construct2 (free). From Cocoon literature, it shouldn't a problem. The Zip file is accepted by Cocoon launcher, (on an Android ICS system).

With or without the HTML file I get a nice black screen and 2 alerts:

-"Exception evaluating JS, cant find variable JQuery"

-"Result of expression 'document.write'[undefined]is not a function"

    I feel guilty...what am i doing wrong ?

  • Hello from a very new member,

I have read all tuts and forums, and I am still looking for a way to link a sprite (a ball with physics) to the phone acceleration sensors, under HTML5. A CAPX would be welcome, since I am still struggling with Construct2 UI.

    Thankfully,

    Patmar
