  • Ohhhh that was because of a separate event... Thanks a lot, it works like a charm .

  • Thanks for your input

I just tried it but I still have overlapping instances at the end of the "Outposts" CreationStage's value.

I may have done something wrong, here is my event sheet with your modifications :

And the end result (1 out of 10 times approx) :

    I don't really get what I'm missing, sorry :/

  • Sorry for the bump, I can't manage to figure this out :/

  • Hello all .

I'm trying to generate a map with elements that should not overlap (for them to be separated). What I have here is alright most of the times, but I often get two overlapping outpost/nobuildzoneoutpost on my map.

In my event system, the global variable "CreationStage" should go from "Outposts" to "Colonies" when all the outpost objects have their boolean "FixedPosition" at true. This boolean is fixed at true when the object "Nobuildzoneoutpost" (which is in the same container as the outpost object) isn't overlapping with another outpost's zone or the startpoint's zone.

I don't get where my error is, could anyone point me in the right direction please ?

Here's the event sheet, I tried to keep it simple :

    Thanks a bunch .

  • I don't have any workaround sadly, but I'm affected by this too and following this thread. Thanks.

Edit : I can't know for sure because of the random factor of this bug, but maybe autosaving is ok if you don't autosave to a dropbox folder. Uploading might be the freezing thing, though I'm no expert. I've changed my autosave to a local directory and will post updates if I'm magically freeze-free

Edit 2 : Nope, not that.

  • Nice plugin man .

I have one issue though, when I shake the screen via the scrollto behaviour, the flames get a little white outline on top of them.

Is there a way to fix it please ?

  • I love your plugins

  • Hello, I noticed there are no negative zoom levels for the tilemap bar, and it would really be useful in case of large tiles (like a 50% zoom level, 25% etc).

Would you consider implementing it in a future update ?

    Thanks for reading .

  • Hello everybody.

I'm currently using a tilemap for collisions + a tilemap for graphics in my game, and editing each tile's collision mask tile by tile is quite tedious for big tiles. Is there a way to edit all of a tilemap's collision tiles in one time ?

    Thanks

  • I love you so much right now. Thank you good sir !

  • Hello folks .

    I have an issue :

I'm trying to get my character to get in front or behind some scenery items when it moves, regarding if it is overlapping a building or a fence per sé.

I've tried some things (treating them individually, putting them in a family) but I can't figure out how to get him in front of everything if he's not overlapping an object (or if he's overlapping it from the front).

Would you have an idea how to make it work please ?

    Capx : http:// s000.tinyupload.com/index.php? file_id=79894667521798620713 (Remove spaces)

Arrow keys to move, you can see the problem when moving in front of the fence on the "Test level" Layout

(Not a shady file I promise, just a capx.. Can't figure out how to attach it to my post, could do it before...)

    Thank you for your time

  • Thanks for explaining the missing url

  • Works, thanks !

  • Howdy constructeers !

I'm trying to generate a square based grid with tiny objects on it.

I have succeeded in generating the grid and placing the objects all over it, but I'm stuck with one thing :

How do I make the objects go "up" rather than go "down" when placing them ?

    Thanks !
