• Hi All,

A colleague and myself have been working on this game for a little while now. Here's some quick screenshots and a short gameplay video for you to enjoy :)

Let us know what you think!

You're going to have to copy paste the link since I'm not at 500pts yet :( lol

  • JayJay,

Thank you so much for the quick response. I'll be able to work with the example you've posted. If anything else arises please feel free to add.

    Thanks again

  • Hi everyone,

It's been a while. I was wondering if there's a simplistic way of scrolling a layout with objects on it. The easiest example I can think of to explain this are "endless runner" types of games.

Games like "I Must Run" or "The Helicopter Game"

Can you only get this effect by tiling objects at certain spots or is it possible to actually scroll the layouts? The character would of course interact with these objects. I.E. they run into a wall and they die.

    Thank you in advance

  • Thank you for this! Very helpful. Is there a way so that I don't have to select all of the pieces? Like once the piece is attached to its respective other, can I just move them as a whole?

There's a perfect example of what I'm trying to do.

Thank you again for the help.

  • Ty for the reply!

Mind elaborating a little more? or maybe another hint? thanks again.

  • Hi, I've had Construct classic for a while but I am still trying to learn some of its features.

I want to make a simple jig-saw puzzle game, but I want to make it so that you can group puzzle pieces together and move them all at once.

For example, the player starts to make one part of the puzzle and then starts to make another part. I want to have it so they can move the first part as a whole and connect it to the the other part if it matches. Almost like how you would go about putting together a cardboard picture puzzle irl.

    Is this possible?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

  • I'm having a similar issue, only instead of stationary boxes it's moving platforms interacting with the character object.

Seems like something isn't being copied when I copy from the original object.

  • Ok so I have searched around these forums as well as google to find help with this topic, but to no avail. Please let me know if it's already been discussed or if I'm posting in the wrong forum.

Basically I want object A to go through object X. Then I want object A to turn into Object B when its crossing through object X. I'd like the same to happen in reverse when B crosses through object X.

What I've tried so far is: overlaps > A destroyed > B spawned

I know this might be a bit confusing so here's a screenshot to hopefully help.

    I'm using CC

    Object A = Box

    Object B = Circle

    Object X = Line

  • Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I've run a search as well as checked the FAQ and still can't find the answer to my question. Maybe someone can help me out :D. Is there a current release that is compatible for a Mac computer?

Thanks in advance for the help,
