  • Brilliant. Thanks again guys.

  • Amazing guys. Always new ways of doing stuff pop up.

    Thanks a million.

    Cheers

  • Hi guys

I was trying to crack this for a while. But my scirra skills are not there yet.

If i would like to spawn coin sprites in a circle formation, like say for every 30 degrees. Is there a smart way of doing that? I tried messing with set spawn locations but i feel there should be a better way of doing it.

    Cheers

  • Hmm. That sounds like it might work. I will give it a go.

    Thanks

  • Yeah i know pin behaviour as i mentioned i my post hehe. But its a pain to all the time pin and unpin a lot of objects. Kinda of why i could use a group i could stick all the sprites into and then move/rotate or scale them all at the same time. :/

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hi Thanks for the reply. Ive been looking the plugins over and i cant figure out how they are supposed to do what i need.

I need to group or link several sprites to the parent/root sprite. Do when i move/rotate/scale the parent/root sprite all the other sprites will follow in their respective positions to the parent/root sprite.

Those 2 plugins you posted, they can do that? If yes could you explain how?

    Thanks a million.

  • Hi

Is there a smart way to have several sprites grouped under one, so i can move and rotate and scale the parent and all the sprites under it will follow? Or do i have to use pin behaviour on each one and pin it in the event for every one?

    Cheers

  • Hmm. Although that will only work on straight line.

What if the car "side view" drives inside a round loop? Then i need sprite1 to jump towards the center of the loop and still land on sprite2.

  • Hello everybody. I cant figure out how to do this, i would appreciate any tips or hints.

I have a sprite "sprite1" which follows another sprite "sprite2" (i use set position and angle every tick), now i want "sprite1" to jump up when i press a button and then land again on "sprite2", so while in the air "sprite1" still follows "sprite2" position and angle. I cant seem to do that since i force "sprite1" position and angle to "sprite2" every tick.

(imagine a guy standing on a moving car and then he jumps up and down)

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to do that?

    Cheers

  • I dont need the platform behaviour.

Im trying to make my own controls by using custom behaviour, but the collisions work very badly.

The example shows the box falling and overlapping the ground, instead of just stopping on top of the ground object. And its different every time you refresh the page, the collision result is varies.

i did already scour the forums for anwsers and the manual was the first thing i checked. I didnt find anything that helped with my problem.

  • Hi

Im trying to use custom movement for gravity and collisions. I need custom movement behaviour for what im doing. Ive set up this test because the collisions seem broken. Can anyone see why this is happening?

The box keeps colliding differently every time you refresh the browser or play the file.

  • Hi All

Ive gone through all the infinite scrolling background posts, but im trying to get that effect with a ball that has physics.

I want the ball stay in the center of the screen. Well maybe with a soft clamp. And the background should move corespondingly to the balls physics motion. I dont know if i make my self clear.

Imagine a looooong pinball table thats kind of what i want to achieve. So ball stays close to the center and screen follows it when it shoots and rebounds around.

    Is that possible?

    Upfront thanks :)
