  • I see. Would you happen to know how much it would require to implement? If it's too much I guess I could remove that from the requirements.

  • Hello everyone!

My name is Jason and I'm looking for someone to develop an IOS game app.

The game will basically be an advanced version of R-Type with a few twists.

    What I need programmed:

    1) Basic movement and control mechanics.

    2) Menus for everyone!

    3) RPG system.

    4) Customization Options.

    5) Wi-fi and Bluetooth Coop.

I'll explain each feature more in depth if and when we sign a contract.

My budget is around one thousand five hundred USD($1500) for a programmer. Of course this is open for negotiation. I would also like to pay per milestone reached.

You could PM me here, but I won't be able to respond since my rep is too low or you could contact me via email: Omnicastugj@hotmail.com.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I look forward to working with you in the near future.

  • EH? That's weird. It says pending though. Hmm I'll just email you then if you don't mind.

  • Thanks for the reply, but it seems like I've worded my title incorrectly. What I meant by "A few questions about what I should do first." was in regards to contracting a programmer to program the alpha prototype for me.

What is a good contract template people use when they contract a developer to work for them? When should I create my LLC? Is making a contract with someone not in the US(my current residence) inadvisable?

I have a general idea of what I want in my game therefore I'd like to contract someone to make it.

  • Since steam has an offline mode I think you could work offline. Also this is in the wrong forum and subforum.

Fyi this question should be under Construct 2 General. "Help Wanted" is there for people looking for work or programming assistance in the form of skill/monetary compensation.

  • Hello everyone!

I'm Jason and I'm quite new here. I'm aspiring to be a game designer by hiring people to make my game ideas into games for me! I tried playing around with CS2 and found that my aptitude for programming is quite... lacking.

Thus I decided to browse the "Help Wanted" section for people willing to work for peanuts! Er I mean a cheap rate that I might be able to afford.

Now my question is how do I go about contracting this person(if he or she is interested)? Should I start a limited liability company first? Should I talk with the person in depth regarding the project? Should I seek out legal advice/service?

I am also very interested in how not to be ripped off. If anyone can advise me on how I can prevent my ideas being stolen I'd be more than willing to thank you.

Also since I'm not sure if this is in the correct forum section I'd be much obliged if the moderators moved it to it's proper subforum.

Thank you very much for reading.

  • I just sent you an IM on Skype.

  • One quick question Daggio when do you expect to finish with your current contract?

    One month?

  • Hi Daggio I have game idea that I'd like to have made into a prototype, but it seems you're busy at the moment. Could you pm me when you are available?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
