  • Finally...the complete and final version of Ladybug from 1981. The 8-bit sounds and music may not be as cool sounding as the original, but at least it's finished <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">

  • Hello and thanks for your reply.

Health variable is a local one, in the player, so no global i 'm afraid.

If i can do what you say with local, then could you please expand a bit?

    try this

"By default, local variables reset to their initial value whenever entering their scope (usually every tick), like local variables in programming languages. If the variable is marked static in the Event Variable dialog it will persist its value permanently, like a global variable."

  • add an event condition when an object is "on-screen" don't work?

  • check the global variables operations on the layout transition

  • Hello there!

We are going to steam greenlight ( or steam-direct, if greenlight is closed ) this april.

For now we managed to create a small trailer and are very exited to share it with you <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

This is a construct 2 made tower defense. We are giving a lot of love to this project, and it is our first serious game.

Feel free to post any comment with your thoughts - let us know what you think about it <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

    Name: Molten Armor

    Genre: tower defense

    Platforms: PC( steam )

    Setting: sci-fi

Description: You play as a commander of a defense unit in a war of two states on one of Earth's colonies. A small territory conflict escalated into a full scale war that goes on for several years. Our country started to break rules first so the Earth will actively support our opponents with henchmen and later with regular army. You will have to make some seemingly small decisions that will drastically turn the tides of war.

    Features:

    * Nonlinearity that will not only change dialogues, but will also lead you to different levels with different missions ( 4 endings included )

    * Active and agressive combat. You can't just build towers and watch the battlefield passively. Key to victory lies in constant buffing you turrets and cleverly using special abilities.

    * Diverse gameplay. From defending evacuation convoys and participating in an ambush to breaking through enemy defenses and fighting giant bosses.

    * Battlefield affects combat. Starting with visual differences ( cities, deserts, snowy forests ), depending on your choices, you can participate in a naval combat, runaway from enemies on a train through a desert and fly on a bomber plane, shooting enemies all around you.

    * Hardcore. This game will make you sweat, but if you want to have some casual fun, you can always select the easy mode.

  • Object in a red frame is fully transparent

If you put it over a black sprite, it's part also goes transparent and you can clearly see the background.

The idea would be to have a drag-and-dropabble glass, looking through which parts of sprites disappear (setting a sprites opacity to 0 on contact with the glass would not work at all)

    Thanks in advance.

but..... it does not make sense!

if it's transparent you have to see what's behind otherwise is NOT transparent

  • Try Construct 3

  • i give you 4 stars, excellent game ^^

  • Any kind really, platformers, mobile games, super in-depth story games, you name it. I don't really have a preference on the type as long as it's 2D and it involves pixel art.

what about an action platform with a warrior girl as protagonist? in that case you have to pixeling all background, tilesets, animations frames... it's a lot of work for a pixelarter > <

or you have some resources ready?

    sorry my bad english

  • Hi, I don't really know where to post this, but I just wanted to make a Construct 2 Indie game developer friend that I can make some games with (????)?*:??? ???: *?(????). I don't really know any people who use Construct 2 so I was wondering if anyone on here who doesn't know much about Construct 2 or knows a lot about C2 would like to be friends. I'd like to make some games with people, but I'm not looking to hire people, I just want to make games with someone, it's much more difficult to do it by yourself. We could make games for fun, or we can sell the games we make and make some money [_¯$_¯(_¯5_¯)_¯$_¯], I'm good with either ¯\_(?)_/¯. I have some good experience in pixel art, but the programming is where I get stuck the most. I understand some of it but I get lost on anything too advanced so I can only make simple games.

This is some of my pixel art character concepts for a game I'd like to make in the future:https://twitter.com/katnip567

hi Kat, im like to make games with you, what kind of games are u thinking about?

  • try recuva in advanced mode but is hard if you do a read write recycle bin or hard disk files...

  • I also improved the enemy AI - still WIP but now they act on you actions.

The more gold the better is your weapon:

Mercury but is it normal that i destroy enemy buildings cliccking them? without warriors on that zone??
