• Hehe, yeah I know the feeling, I always mess up on that myself. I find the easiest way to check if you've done it right is to get the angle out in the text object.

  • Up should be between 225 and 315 and down should be between 45 and 135.

  • Ashley yeah as far as i know it runs Android 4.0 ("Ice Cream Sandwich").

  • Don't use anchor for UI, put it on a layer with parallax 0,0.

  • I don't see any reason why Ludei and appMobi would not make their exporters work for the OUYA. It's already running android and has better hardware than a phone, so it shouldn't be much of a problem I think.

But please, keep us posted if you get an answer Joannesalfa!

  • Nah, he meant having different animations in one object. That way you'll need only one set of events. OR you could do it like you just said with multiple objects and use families, but you'll need a license for that.

  • Yes please! It's not a problem when you name your projects, but would be very useful for quick .capx examples where you don't bother oragnizing too much. Just a mention of the current file name somewhere.

  • Like aridale said, it will be available with WebGL shaders in r100. It is currently possible to do it with the "source atop" effect. Check out R0J0hound's example here. Or you could try out Pode's "Recolor Sprite" behaviour. (I haven't tried it though)

Well, you didn't exactly state that you wanted to meet up with anyone in the first post, or where these meetings would take place.

You asked if there were any C2 guys in Southern California, and these guys were just wondering if they met the requirements of who you were looking to talk to, since they don't really live in the south. I highly doubt they were trying to yank anyone's chain.

In my own experience, this is one of the friendliest communities I've been a part of, with very few people trolling. I'm not american myself though, so all I can do is wish you good luck with finding someone to meet up with.

Apple will probably come around. You never know about the IE guys over at microsoft though.

  • I don't see why this should discourage anyone from creating social games? It should discourage people from breaking the law and ripping off shareholders, but the whole selling virtual goods thing isn't illegal.

  • aridale: Not even other people's .capx examples? There are many great ideas and game mechanics floating around in these forums.

  • aridale: Haha, well done for never spotting it. You'd think it would appear in an example you had a look at or something at some point.

I use booleans all the time myself, but numbers work fine, so of course it doesn't really matter.

  • aridale:

It's been there as long as I've used C2, so at least since december.

  • Use the system scrolling events instead of the behaviour and you can do whatever you want with the scrolling.
