  • I would have thought an .exe would have been as standard (as that's far and away the most common) with other export options to follow. At the moment, I'll wait for the exe export option.

  • [quote:5ios186t]Maybe this should have been put out in April. People think it's for real :/

Re-reading it properly I think you might be right.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for this! I've learned a lot without having to ask 101 questions.

  • Sorry about that PixelRebirth. I did a search for 'pdf' and this was one of the many threads that came up (I've downloaded the pdf version of the wiki and the Python commands which I found through searching) but didn't realise the date of the last post on this thread.

Anyway, thank you for the pdf link, looks like it's exactly what I wanted.

  • Being a 'newbie' to Construct myself I too would like to see some sort of pdf file as I like to read printed stuff and have them to have as reference.

  • Right, my turn...

The name's Andy and have been interested in game making since the good old Spectrum days (Paw, GAC, 3D Construction Kit, and of course 'speccy basic' ahh...) Having worked my way up to an Amiga500 I got myself AMOS and tinkered with that.

Now that I have a PC I've been through a number of game maker's, including:

    Game Maker

    DS Game Maker

    ADRIFT

    Inform

    MMF2

    AGS

    FPS Creator

    Dark Basic Pro

and now I've just come across Construct (literally 2 days ago!) and from the demo reel video it looks to be a great development tool. I apologise in advance for all the questions I may ask but just point me in the right direction and it will be greatly appreciated!
