  • Gimp can load psd's, just not folders, or layer fx.

It can load ai, and most other vectors, but only merged.

Png exported is the best option imo.

Granted Photoshop is a standard, but you have to remember it's an expensive one.

I wouldn't worry about the portrait mode, you can't be expected to provide every view, or aspect ratio.

  • Best bet is a combination of tilemaps, sprites, and tiled backgrounds.

Don't forget you can have multiple tilemaps, multiple instances of tilemaps, but the instances all share the same texture, just like sprites.

  • Try Construct 3

  • It depends on what the event does.

An empty event has no impact on performance.

  • Tilemap with 128x128 tiles?

There's no real issue, unless the texture itself is unusually large.

Other than that there might be problems if you expect to place 32x32 tiles in the middle of the larger ones.

Pretty sure all tiles have to start at the top corner, whereas regular sprites can have hotspots anywhere.

  • Well, you could do some screen printed pillows that say "I paid 15 bucks to sell my crap, and all I got was this pillow!"

You could get more than a dollar.

    Probably.

  • Ai is vector based, so my guess is that 6 size, whatever that is, is too small to be rasterized.

  • Selling games will be a licensing nightmare.

There's a reason the distributors take such a big chunk out of what they sell.

Should I do one for round buttons?

  • And here they are.

Pokemon Go threads for the next 6 months.

  • It's the way they have it set up. They don't want you to show the it anywhere else but the specific domain the ad is made for.

I've already had my games solen and displayed on some other site.

What I was hoping to do was rather than just site locking the game was to have the ads display once I had created one for the pirate domain.

The problem is I can't change a file once the source is stolen and uploaded somewhere else.

I can have the game get some other file, or get a string from somewhere else, so I could possibly make it so it got ad ids and make it work that way.

But, all they have to do to stop that is remove the file.

I've been looking at ways to get around that but none have worked thus far.

I checked out creating a file from html strings, but it won't work because of either the url check, or the javascript not running, I'm not sure.

Some other solution along the same lines might be to make a blob, but that is well beyond my ability to piece together.

  • It's been stated quite a bit that browser garbage collection is pretty bad, but I don't think any framework is going plan on this sort of use.

A video gets loaded, it's expected to be viewed, giving the system time to adjust.

  • OK, but with 3 posts and no badge, I'm not very optimistic.

  • I don't know what that is.

  • I don't know.

All I can say for sure is that it won't run unless the plug is set to iframe, and if the html the script it is in is local.

It won't work if the html file is removed.

  • Memory went up.

Then it went down when I stopped.

    It's not unexpected.

It takes a bit for the memory to be released.

Might check what version you are using:

I was using the one from July 21

Although I have no idea if preview actually uses the newest c2nwjs install.
