  • Hi so I'm creating a web based game and I've integrated google play services into it... I want to create a layout that displays all the achievements the user has unlocked & can unlock how do I do that?

For the unlocked achievements I would like to also display the icon attached to the achievement

  • What about this: ?

    Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately you have to be invited by a friend to sign up as a developer to use clayio. They don't have open signups any longer.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Long story short I would like to add unlockable online achievements into my game, I am unsure of how to set it up using my own hosting service and database, and I couldn't find any tutorials on how to do that, but I did stumble upon google play services and I have a couple of questions about it

    1) Does the game have to be in the Google Play store as an app to use their services? I don't plan on releasing my game into the app store, It'll be an HTML5 web game, which will be embedded onto my own website. Will I be able to integrate achievements and a leader board that will be work if the game is hosted on my own website?

    2) My game is still in development, can I still adding unlockable achievements now or do I have to complete the game and upload it to google?

  • Currently have the same problem good luck!

Thanks. Same to you hopefully we can get some answers.

  • What is the best way to go about creating unlock-able online achievements? The game is incomplete and most of the services (googleplay, gamejolt, kongregrate) require you to upload your game to their websites/app stores . Like I said the game isn't complete yet so I'm not really sure how that would work.

What are other ways I could integrate online unlockable achievements?

Edit: A little more info. The end product will be an HTML5 game that will most likely be hosted on our own website/domain. The services mentioned above (GP, GJ& KONG) would require us to upload it to their website to take advantage of achievements. Are there any methods available which would allow us to to do achievements using our own hosting service (hostgator)
