  • Artpunk Congrats on getting this done! its pretty bad ass!!!!

    got a quick question,

Are you using the native platform behavior in c2 or did you build your own movement engine from scratch?

cuz you're jump is awesome and i was wondering how you accomplished it!

just tweaks to the parameters within the platform behavior or your own from scratch solution?

    great job, super impressive!

love seeing this kinda quality come outta c2!!!!

  • I've been experimenting with this for a while now with limited success, So i think its time to ask for some help....

im looking to move a sprite side to side on the screen, but in a 1/2 circle kinda way (the lower 1/2 of a circle), here is a pic to show what im trying to accomplish (excuse the crappy drawing lol! -- both sides should be the same )

the sprite will be user controlled will move back and forth like "break out" ...but will change height as shown in the pic

Thanks for the help.... i appreciate it!

  • you can add a condition to not let the player shoot again until the current bullet/ball is destroyed....

  • beta avail yet?

  • nice!

  • check out this thread

  • korbaach your 1st reply reminded me i was already using userAgent to check for the browser.. and the other info i was looking for was also in there!

i ended up using the same code and looking for the specific os i needed (win7) instead of the browser

used this in a compare 2 vals

    • find(uppercase(Browser.UserAgent),"Windows NT 6.1")

    works perfect

    thanks for the help guys!

  • i dont think this is possible, but im gonna ask... JUST in case

is there a way to check what version of windows is being used ... like win7/8/8.1/10 ??

    thanks!

  • The simplest way to do this is on any touch create a different invisible object for detection at touch.x, touch.y and destroy sprite2 when overlapping the created object.

niiiiiiice! i like the way you think!
