  • So, one of my games that had the alert no longer has it,yet another still does. One difference between the 2 is the one with the alert uses google play services for a leaderboard, the other does not. Anyone else with the alert use google play services? Also was that reply from about this alert, or about the XAS alert?

  • Today is the first time I noticed it; but that isn't saying much It could have been there for a while. I would have to believe that Admob is the issue; as it is the only thing in my apps that even uses the network, let alone secure connections.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I have 2 crosswalk games on the market, and both of them have the alert as well.

  • I just published one on Google Play, it is BreakOUT.

I have this exact version online too, play breakout online at http://www.gudensoft.com

Search gudensoft in the market to find my apps, I will add a link once it is done loading to Play.

  • I did a similar game, check it out here:

    MotoRider

I like your pedals, I thought about adding additional bikes, including ones with pedals, but was worried about the joints on the legs and the pedals messing with how the bike handles.

One suggestion I would make is don't worry too much about the physics of the bike until you put a rider on it (if you plan too that is). Adding the rider will completely change the behavior of it.

    Good Luck!

  • Man this construct 2 is fun. Here is breakout:

The bricks are randomly assigned, and there are an infinite amount of levels. I will say that things get interesting around level 9!

    enjoy

  • I just noticed a slight bug; I am a new user and I posted a few things that included links. Then on one of the posts, I wanted to edit it, and when I tried to save it, it said I was too new of a user.

If you are trying to prevent new users from posting links, it isn't working. Otherwise, the update post isn't working for new users with links ;)

    Thanks

  • use the Timer plugin:

    http://www.scirra.com/forum/behavior-timer_topic46403.html

I have used it and it works great. In the future, you might look at the plugin list, as a lot of my issues where solved just by looking for a plugin:

  • Could you use one of the iframe plugins? like:

  • I found out the list control (and many others) will not work in CocoonJS. I am trying to think of the best way to implement some sort of a list that will work. Here is the list I currently have:

    http://www.gudensoft.com/moto/userLevels/

The only solution I can think of is to use a text object and an invisible sprite on top so that I can get the onClick event. Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

  • First off, Construct 2 is great; I have been a coder for 15+ years, and this is the first "drag and drop" that I have used that is worth a hoot. I had a motorcycle game written in Silverlight, which a recent update broke, and I wanted to move it to HTML5. I was able to port 99% of the game into construct 2, and only a few minor pieces are still missing. Check it out:

    Play MotoRider! now

It has 2 sections; a "Pro" section with levels that I created, and a "User" section in which uses can make their own levels, and share it with everyone. It also has a leader board for each level. There are still a few minor things that need attention, but it is very playable!

    Thanks
