  • Hey everyone, I have been lurking for a while but would like to share my enthusiasm for Construct 2. I am about to embark on a project using Scirra to develop a front end for an app with a python powered back end.

I am a novice construct user and my java script is limited, however I have been using python for a while now and I am creating the back end with the Flask pyhton framework.

I would like to share my experiences during the project if anyone is interested.

  • This is fantastic. Not only is it a great behaviour but the Cap explains something else I have been trying to get right as well! Thanks

  • Thanks man, thats quite a good head start!

  • So I have been looking a lot more closely at what they offer and they even go as far as to allow you to sell items for facebook credits. It seems pretty feature complete. RPG, you got it, Sim, you got it. Simple shooter with bonuses and modifiers and maybe some buying and selling of items no problem. I do believe Construct and Roar can play quite nicely together.

  • Hey everyone

I am pretty new here but I thought you might like to know about an xml api I discovered for managing various game mechanics in multiplayer online games. The whole thing is powered by pubnub.

I think this could be very handy for people developing multiplayer games with the intention of packaging them for tablets and smart phones.

    The main site is:

    roar.io

It took me 3 days to get my invite.

Here is a video of him creating a harvest mechanic as you may find in a game like Farmville.

  • Hey man, I would say phone gap integration would be a good way to go. It's open source and seems to be widely used. You would probably be able to build in support for their API quite easily. I like the idea of being able to access the phone gap API directly from construct. I would even pay a bit extra for the phone gap integration pack or something similar.

  • I was wondering if there are any plans to integrate PubNub.com? They seem to be the way to go as far as push notifications go.
