  It seems to be when my sprite starts falling. right at the start it is fine but once my sprite begins to fall down it changes to the old sprite.

  I am working off of a capx file replacing my own game content into it. However, something weird is happening. When the game starts, for a second, the sprite I designed is shown but then quickly reverts back to the old sprite and remains that way. I am not sure what might be happening. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  I'm brand new to this so I'm sorry if I'm not clear. I have tried adding that exact event multiple times but in preview mode my sprite collides with the other and disappears making it impossible to keep playing the game.

  I'd like to have the game restart after the collision with the sprite going back to its starting position.
