  • I've actually been considering more work on the back ground. I like the other ideas, kind of interesting. I'll have to show metalkat88 your ideas.

  • YAY! Glad you liked it. I am Metalkat88's wife, he does the coding I do the art. I'm happy to hear you liked the Spaceship design! Do you see anything about it that might need to be changed, art and/or game play wise? And don't feel bad, I die fast on it too LOL.

  • Yeah I've been hearing a lot about inkscape. Haven't tried it yet. Might have to check it out, though I love my PS and Illustrator.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Hey guys! So I have a little question for you guys. I've looked around and found lots of stuff on the either /or question of PS or Illustrator for game art. Well I am curious if anyone has used both in the same game and/or if this is even something that can work. What I am thinking of doing is using Illustrator for things like characters, objects etc. and using PS for things like the background and textures.

Looking forward to hearing some of your guys' takes on this.

  • Okay awesome, Just downloaded the free version to try. Looks interesting so far.

  • One question for those of you using Spriter. Have any of you found any issues running it with Windows, or any other stability issues? Spriter looks to be what I have been wanting to find, make my job so much easier. We are working on our first game and I have been hoping to find something that will work with my Photoshop and Illustrator but that we can also use easily with construct. Sadly, some of these programs can be rather touchy.

  • Hello everyone!

My name is Sarah and I have been playing games since the NES. These days I don't play too many games but rather love creating artwork. My husband and I are working with construct 2 to start making games together. Hoping to meet many new people and have lots of fun.

    Bye!
