  • Thank you so much! Truly appreciate it! Will try sometime on the weekend, I'm quite busy with homework at the moment.

  • Say I save on the layout Level, to save the positions of the objects and also the variables.

    Then enter another layout called Store. I buy something and then go back to the layout Level. To remember that I bought something I save on the Store layout.

    But when I go to load the Level layout, the game of course loads the game when it was on the Store layout. So I go straight back to the store.

    How can I possibly fix this?

  • When the player shoots his gun the screen shakes with a magnitude of 1 for 0.1 seconds. When an enemy gets destroyed it spawns an explosion that shakes the screen with a magnitude of 15 for 0.5 seconds.

    Problem is that if the player continues to shoot when the enemy gets destroyed, the bullet screen shake (magnitude 1 for 0.1 seconds) overrides the explosion screenshake, making the explosion screenshake barely noticeable.

    Is there a fix to this or do I have to do a work-around?

  • Trying to make a rain effect, but I don't want to create the raindrops all over the layout since that would lag the game. Instead I want the raindrops to spawn within the player screen. How do I do this?

  • So I updated my game called Vader Veteran, but when the upload was complete it was still running the old version on scirra. So I checked the game on my phone and it had updated there, but still not on my computer!

  • So, I've got 2 PC's. One is Windows 7 and the other is Windows 10. When i follow the "Hot to preview on a local network" tutorial, it works - but only on Windows 7. When I do it on Windows 10, it doesn't work! Is this something I can fix myself or do I have to wait for a patch?

  • If you make an object spin by "key is down D" --> "Rotate 10 degrees clockwise". It spins.

    However if you make the object spin with "Is touching Obj" --> "Rotate 10 degrees clockwise". It spins, but it spins faster, how come? I have the theory that "is touching object" refresh faster then "key is down", in the construct 2 system itself.

    It's kind of hindering when playtesting on my computer instead of on my phone, so please do come with advice for me.

  • So I'm trying to find a way of seeing how fast one of my physics objects, the player, is going. However it doesn't seem to be a 'speed' inbuilt to the physics object...

  • Thanks! For anyone else doing this, i found an easy fix for my certain situation:

    turretBase --> on created; wait 0.01 seconds --> turretBase spawn another object turretGun
