  • Sorry everyone, maybe it's something very obvious and I'm not realizing (hopefully so) but anyway.

    Here is my problem:

    2 generator objects creates 8 intances of an object (it is a worm)

    Each worm has the command to walk in one direction, but if it surpasses the player object.X , each worm must activate the animation "turn around" and when it finishes, the animation "walk" must be activated again and also rotate its sprite.

    I don't know why they only obey the first 2 intances (the one that comes from the left and the one that comes from the right).

    I come from using YoYo Game Maker, my knowledge is not high but it is not basic, someone could tell me which is the most appropriate way to apply to all instances and not only the first ones? .. thanks

  • I have a silly problem. create an enemy object that when created waits a random time to start shooting. The problem arises when I add several instances of it in the layout when the game starts all the instances fire at the same time. How do I get everyone to have an individual ramdom? thanks

  • It depends on what you do with it. If you're looping through the entire array it might be a bit taxing, that's a million cells to check.

    There may be more efficient ways to store the data. Again it depends on your use.

    I've made a parser that uses arrays with 100k+ cells, it performs operations pretty much instantly for me.

  • hello people sorry my english. I am new to Construct3 I started using an array and I have a question: if I build an array of 100x100x100 it is very heavy it slows down the game, are there limits on array?
