  • Hi Guys

    Please see CAPX as I am stumped as to why the sprite is in the middle of the view in Construct but, when testing the sprite sits in the bottom left corner.

    does this have something to do with the fact that Touch controls are being used and the sprite needs to be in a fixed position at start of layout.

    I have tried fixing the postion but it had no effect.

    Any help would be hugely appreciated

    already tried that and it just doesn't stop, not sure if something is bugged as it doesnt seem to matter what frame i ask it to end on it still ends on the same frame.

    I am having the most basic problem of getting an animation to return to the start once played. It plays to the last frame but will not go back to frame 0 once done.

    I have the same setting I have used numerous times before but it will not work.

    Could someone plz take a look as it is really bugging me now as to what I am missing.

    my background has 12 holes, can I use 1 mole sprite and have it randomly spawn at the various x,y co-oridinates for example.

    system > create object>mole on layer 0 at random 91,36, random 34,36 etc etc.

    or should i use 12 mole sprites to spawn at their own set co-ordinates.

  • Hi Guys, i wanted to revisit this and put a little bit more of an explanation on as it is stumping me at the moment.

    I have 12 holes for 12 moles.

    I want the moles to pop up randomly.

    as times passes i want the spawning to become faster and faster.

    1. do i start 1 mole off then use a system > wait for the others

    2. do i just use system > every x seconds and use random(x-xx)

    to increase the spawn rate over time (sorry guys but did not really understand your advice in previous posts) what would i need to do.

    Currently I have no mechanics in place.

    I have 12 moles which I need to spawn randomly but as the score gets higher and higher I wanted the spawn rates to speed up to make it more difficult.

    I hope this helps.

  • Wow, guys, I am a bit taken aback by the comments. Thank you, I am inspired now to Create new levels.

    Wink - I am planning on doing a Mobile version, am having issues with the sound playing at mo. am looking into it though.

  • Thx Pode. the only issue i can see here is that i do need 2 sounds to play at once, I am going to give it a go although some of that code seem a bit above my lvl of expertese, will give it a crack anyway.
