  • woot, the video is amazing, loving the possession idea <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I'm a huge fan of sidescrolling games, even trying to make one myself with the C2 free version, but it's not half as awesome as yours <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    keep up the good work!

    shame on me lol

  • Open the 2nd layout, then choose the event sheet of the 1st layout at the layout properties window to the left, under the "event sheet" tab. This way, you're using the same event sheet for both layouts

    <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

<font color=blue>EDIT</font> also, i'd recommend that you create a separate layout for the sprites. name it "dumpster" or whatever you like, and never use that layout ingame.

that'll help you organise things and avoid unwanted sprites in playable layouts <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • nope, it's just beta, but it's free <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    you can download it here

    This ^

even tho old 2d rpg's are considered "old-school", the REAL old school rpgs are those played with paper, pencil, dices and some guy narrating the story, no computer related...

if they manage to create an rpg that brings back the feeling of playing that kind of game, wich no computer rpg ever happened to make, then i'll look forward to buy the game, but IMO, not enough info for me to help with the kickstarter atm <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Thanks!

Yep, i think the floating texts telling you what to do are a bit too much...

The slides were kind of intentional, but maybe it's better to have a more "static" character

    I'm glad you guys are liking it! <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    PS: n?o sei pq to respondendo em ingles <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Yay thx!

I spent some time changing and testing different platform settings, aiming for a smooth and fluid gameplay <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

LOL yeah, this project is only a test for me to get used to C2, but, why not having a plot, right? <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Since the game's name and main character are based of me, I though about using a plot also based on my situation <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • wow, this looks amazing! the idea of possessing enemies is great

but the name reminds me of "The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs" <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • MelVin

    Yay! thx <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I'm still struggling to learn some C2 features, but i'm trying my best!

GenkiGenga yeah, i first used a door for the next level transition, but doors are boring <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

also, the cannon helped me learning something about the "wait" action

    and thx for the feedback <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • LOL ikr <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

not my fault that my parents named me Lobo <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Lobo - the game is being re-developed from the scratch. Keep an eye for updates <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I recomend you check the "space blaster game" example that comes with C2 <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

there's a missile object that is a tiled background, and it's width changes everytime you pick another missile. might help you find a similar way of dealing with your ores <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
