  You don't need a ForEach even if it's not in a family. You can just do Every 2 seconds > Sprite Set Animation "Fire" if it was just a Sprite object. There could still be a reason that he's using ForEach though maybe, who knows!

  You need it the other way round :

  i.e. Every 2 seconds

       For Each EnemyName    Set Animation to Fire

  That should work.

  You need to phrase it like :

  On Key Pressed > Call Function X

  Function X > Do Action

  I don't think buttons work with CocoonJS. I was told to use touch sprites. Maybe it's the same with Ejecta?

If you knew the basics you would be able to tweak that very generous .capx sent by — Also I'm not sure what is up with the crying emoticons.

  Most events run every tick unless they are defined with conditions. What is the parent event of the sub-events that are incorrectly starting on start of layout?

  If the compare does not have an action I guess this is saying when LayoutStartVar is set to 1 then do/change nothing.

  Set angle (on the bullet object)

  Set the object's angle in degrees, from 0 to 360. 0 degrees is facing right and angles increment clockwise. (180 is left)
