  • Guys, it seems you don't understand the topic here. There's no problem in having a "custom" variable to set the angle (and later retrieve it). The reason for this topic is that there's an action within the platform behavior called "set angle of gravity". However there's no expression like "object.platform.gravityangle" to "natively" retrieve the value of the angle. In other cases, for every value (it seems) there's an expression to retrieve it.

I hope it's more clear now.

  • Well, it's no that I can't use a variable myself, it's just that there's no expression to retrieve the current angle. I think you didn't understand what I meant :).

And you do can change the gravity angle within the platform behavior.

  • Happy to help :).

  • Hi :),

I was just wondering if it's just me or there isn't an expression to retrieve the current gravity's angle?

This is not a complaint nor anything like that. I just want to be sure if I'm the only one missing this expression :).

  • Hi everyone :),

Some weeks ago a friend and I started a facebook group for hispanic/latinamerican C2 enthusiasts. So far, we've (every member) been giving all the support we can according to our skills and things are looking good so far.

Anyway, because I've seen some fellow members of the group mention it here in a few posts, I want to invite everyone who needs help or want to support others to join. Even though its main language is spanish, any help is welcome. Some of us can translate if needed :).

    See you!

  • Oh, ok.

Didn't know that it was designed that way.

Thank you for your time :).

  • Hi :),

Here's a bug I found while using the "Is by wall" condition. For some reason, the block ends getting stuck, when collisions are detected, in a random way.

According to the actions, the block should reverse its direction when a "wall" collision is detected. This does happen for a while, until it gets stuck.

    I hope this is useful.

    Good luck!

  • It worked!

I don't know what the difference was, but the last time I tried the drivers were actually recognized.

Construct 2 is running smoothly as ever now.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Thanks, I'll see what I can do then.

  • Hi,

I was wondering on where to post this so I hope here is the right place. I've been using Construct 2 for a while now and recently installed it in an Asus G73JH laptop that I bought like a year ago. The thing is, when I try to run Construct, it says "Error rendering view: SwapBuffers failed". For this reason, any layout that I open/create get's stuck. I don't know (or think) that this is a bug, but I'm not able to find a solution.

What I found recently is that it might be my graphic drivers, but every time I try to update them, the laptop doesn't recognize them.

    Thank you in advance.
