  • Actually scirra just gets not enough money

There is no "I think" there, it sounds like an assertion to me.

I?m only sure the price will go up anytime, cause actually it?s the cheapest engine and the last time they raised it without saying much before about it.

They warned for months (almost 6) that the price would raise, and they announced the time of raise 3 weeks before it did.

If you consider that's not much saying, I don't know what is.

  • I wonder where you're getting your informations from

Scirra has been looking to hire a JS developer for several months now, meaning they are making enough with the current license system to hire more people.

It's unlikely they will change the license system (they always told they found a one-time fee to be more fair).

As for the price rising, I don't know if it will happen. Perhaps, perhaps not, there's been no word on this. Anyway if the prices were to raise again, they would clearly announce it earlier than the raise like they did before.

  • You won't be able to save in dropbox.

To save the game of your player you can either use webstorage (be sure to check the How do I FAQ at the section "Webstorage" or this tutorial).

You can also use the save game feature through the behavior Persist/No save and this tutorial explaining how to use this feature.

The save game is local to your user's computer.

For the scores and have the opportunity to share them, you need to save them on an online server. Once again, check the How do I FAQ, there are several topics on the subject in the "AJAX" section.

Have a search through the tutorials section as well, some tutorials already depicts how to do it.

  • The families, i think have the same problem.

    Not at all.

In a single event "on collision with family" the deal is done.

And in the family editor, that's where you add the several objects you want.

You could then have a family for objects that will destroy the bullet, have a family for objects that will act different and be aware that a same object can be assigned to different families.

Have a look at the manual entry to have a better overview of the family feature.

  • I thought it was something that would be released on xbox one.

    Is it already available ?

From what I had seen during E3 it sounds more like something like "little big planet", you need "Project spark" and releases of "whatever you do" are done through the Project Spark "network".

In other words, you can't do standalone like Construct2 does (whether mobile app, standalone executable or HTML5 project).

  • As Ashley said, this might be forgotten, also there is already such a tutorial at this url : https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/432/android-games-with-cocoonjs

  • Can't reproduce.

Both are working the same for me in firefox for android.

Also your second application has quite a different resolution than the first one, that's something you might want to look into.

  • For the names, let the player decides on start of the play session.

I think that's the best way to entice player and involve them deeply/care about the characters since they can create their own context using names of heroes they like or people they know.

  • I got your emails, I'll answer to them soon, need a bit of time to review it.

Glad you already got some stuff fixed though.

  • What is the error ?

Have you followed exactly the steps of this tutorial ?

Are you using the latest version of Construct2 (r135) ?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Please provide a capx.

  • Alcemon: If you the sub-event 3 blank (no conditions) you'll see that the values are correctly assigned/displayed.

The issue is not with the pushing of values, it seems to be with the logic of the conditions.

(since anyway you want the action to happen on any return key pressed, why put such conditions in there ?)

Working example, logging on screen and in browser's console

herniewise: Either post a bug report or in the how do I forums, but as far as I can tell, arrays are working as expected, the issue might lie somewhere else in your code.
