  • Please, pay attention to what and where you are posting.

Moved this topic to "Open topic", because that what it is, nothing to see with website issue.

Good luck with Blender and Lua.

  • You can do it the same way you integrate any object/plugin in a layout of Construct 2.

It is one of the most basic steps that are covered in the beginner's guide be sure to do the complete tutorial before going further.

Double-click or right-click on the layout and select "Insert new object".

Then select the plugin you want to add, in that case Video.

  • So yes I sent you to the official download, that will make you download "construct2-r190-setup.exe" if you take it directly from the website, and should allow you to download the same file even if you take it from torrent.

Nowhere is there a trace of "systemprotector.lua" in that installation file.

It's likely you got your computer infected with it from elsewhere, and it is a file/software (apparently with a quick google search the software "Advanced System Protector" that can be erased with CC cleaner).

Before raising hell every now and then, you should first have a look around and search by yourself before throwing accusations.

Also, people who are still using r178 generally tend to be using an old pirate license.

It did not really occurred to me in the previous topic and I still went right away to provide help.

But if it ends in allegations that "a moderator is framing you" perhaps your next request for any kind of help will simply get ignored.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Then your project is not correctly and completely uploaded. Error 404 means it can't access those files, and those files are absolutely required for the game to execute.

Check back the steps from my previous message.

  • None is planned as anyone's aware so far.

  • Construct 2 is indeed a one-time fee.

After paying and the payment is processed, a redeem code is sent to your email.

Redeem it in the store and download your license.

You can check out the manual article on "using a license" to check out the steps on how to apply the license.

  • Perhaps.

    Export as HTML5 website.

Make sure to check out this tutorial on how to upload your game to google drive.

And finally check for errors in your browser.

With all those elements, you could find out what's going wrong, or at least give us some clues that might help us helping you.

  • If I understand correctly what you are saying, you are asking for the events to work as they already do.

An event sheets is read from top to bottom, and for each event, all the conditions must be true for the action and subevents to be executed/tested in turn.

You can add include as an indented sub-event, so it will only include another event sheet if the conditions of the top level event are true.

Finally, indeed you can work your way out with activating/deactivating group, and I don't really see how else you could make it but by allowing the user to make events that are tailored for the current project she's making.

How more "out of the box" would you see/want it to be ?

  • Moved.

  • Manual is updated with each new stable update.

The "one cordova exporter" has only been available in the latest beta release.

    Patience.

  • cranberrygame: Modified.

  • The license is a one-time fee.

You can download each new releases and apply your license to it.

Once you bought your license, it is yours.

If you make money out of the games you are making with personal license, you'll need to upgrade to business license once you made over 5000$.

All this can be found in the "how C2 license work" or store's licensing. You can find those informations in the "License" tab for each license in the store as well.

  • JamesXXXYZ: You can find all my games on my website.

I'm not sure what you were wondering about "my graphics". We are not all graphic artists and programmer art still manages to get a game and a design through.

This topic though is about this current game.

If you have technical issue be sure to read the manual first (in that case especially the behavior pathfinding article), search the tutorials in case there are already informations about your issue.

Make also sure to check out the how do I faq.

In the end if you don't find anything ask in the how do I forum. Provide a capx and a clear explanation of what is going on, what you are trying to achieve and what you are actually seeing happening with your current code.

  • JamesXXXYZ:

It is a game jam game, so it is a game made in 48 hours.

Graphics never were my forte. And the fact that you commit to an animation/attack and "get stuck in it" is part of the design.

Perhaps the speed of the animation is too slow, but I found out that later in the game it was still difficult to beat opponents even with those slow animations.

It's not a mashing game, it is a "good timing/correct pattern guessing" game.

  • Make sure to update your graphic card drivers.

Also Mac. C2 is designed first and foremost for Windows, so Virtual Machine issues can be pretty tricky and related to the VM itself.
