Kyatric's Forum Posts

  • Consider posting those kind of questions directly in the topic of the addon, don't make a new topic for it.

Best way to get assistance concerning a specific addon !

  • Bumping relentlessly is not the solution to go. If you had took the time to do a quick search in the forums instead of bumping like crazy and waiting to be spoonfed you might have found this post.

Are you sure you exported accordingly to the way it is supposed to (as explained in this tutorial)

Are you using the latest C2 beta and NW.JS alpha 3 version as intended ?

    Just don't bump anymore.

  • So, is there anyway to fix this?

My guess is that you need to do again the video and make sure it IS a video, in the correct format as explained in the manual article.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • You likely have set those objects as global or something.

Consider posting your capx for further examination, that will be easier to establish what's going wrong.

  • Changing the extension of the "video" file to .webm in the "WebM source" property, I managed to go through the menu, the selection and have the audio of the file play in Firefox. (I've tried checking the video file on VLC anyway, it seems to just be audio, I never saw any image).

In chrome, whether named .ovg or .webm the file never played.

Perhaps a bug with chrome, perhaps an issue with the video file you are using (which doesn't seem to contain video anyway).

Also, the console in Chrome does not send out any message.

When using the extension .ovg, Firefox returns a 404 file missing error.

If it is supposed to be just audio, don't bother playing it as a video, just use it as audio (like you've done in the rest of your project).

Also strictly bumping a topic for several days when adding nothing new to it is not the best idea.

  • Add two instance variables to your crosshair : offsetXPlayer1 and offsetYPlayer1 which will both be what you call the "variation".

Add a start of layout event in which you set the offset for each axis.

When the right stick is moving, modify the offset accordingly too.

When the right stick is not moving, position the crosshair to be at the position of the player + the offset.

  • Moved.

  • This issue should be fixed now.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • ethanpil: I'm not sure I want to add anything to this plugin anymore. Also, base64 is encoding/decoding, not hashing so not really 100% relevant to the current plugin.

There are other third-part addons dealing with base64 as you can see in the list.

Are those not good enough ?

fongka2: IndieKiwi: Both your games were removed from the arcade.

  • Hello when writing on Scirra's forums, please always do provide a translation to English (even a google translate one) as those forums are English only.

For your issue, as it concerns Steam's version, I'm afraid you would have to check out with Steam support (in your language hopefully) so they let you know how to get your license back on your new computer. You may also check C2's discussions on Steam in your language (and/or in English) in case some people went through the same issue and posted about the solution they've had.

  • Please stop bumping your topics less than 24 hours after the last post it's getting really annoying.

Personally I've never heard of the term OMT, but from the sound of it, you are talking about a mean of payment like Paypal is, aren't you ?

If so your question n°2 is irrelevant (since it is a mean of payment, not an income source).

Otherwise, I don't know what you are talking about and you should likely do a google search, as usual with your questions, before asking them here.

Or at least give more informations like where you've heard from it and why you feel like asking this on Scirra's forum is a good idea in your opinion.

  • Check the spam/junk folder for the email address you entered when buying the license (if you weren't logged in/registered at that time, you were supposed to enter one).

Otherwise be sure to send a mail at support [at] scirra [dot] com sending the paypal transaction ID.
