  • I got the same problem with my adroid apps. Interstitials are working, but banners not always (50% not showing). Is this an issue from the new XDK version or from the Admob cordova plug-in?

  • I've ask Intel (Paul) about some issues I have and most of them are solved.

    SOLUTION = Use CW7~14 and use CLI 4.1.2, music will play and banners/interstitials will show.

    But I ran to another problem, the banner/interstitials will only show if I use plug-in "AdMob* Ad Services (old)" (plug-in "AdMob* Ad (Basic) Services" and "com.rjfun.cordova.plugin.admob" don't show anything anymore) and my app now sometimes will freeze at playing interstitials. This is very strange, before I never had that problem. Anyone got the same problem like me?

  • Eyy guys... it's like this (shown at App info of my android phone):

    STORAGE

    • Application = 47,95 MB (this is always the same)
    • App SD-card = 0,00 B (this never change I think)
    • Data = 7,32 MB (this change drasticly to quit big number after played each time).
    • SD-carddata = 108 KB (this won't go much bigger, from time to time I think)

    BUFFER

    • Buffer 112 KB (this won't go much bigger, from time to time I think)

    It's about the Data (I've called it memory in the previous message), but does it really get that much bigger? Because I got other app-games, which has around 20 Webstorage functions, will this grow so big like 200 MB? Im worried that my apps will crash on customers phone if they ran out memory...

    Is there any solutions for this?

  • Hi everyone,

    I see my installed APK on my phone or tablet the memory size growing each time I've played.

    Forexample installed APK 40mb, memory is 0mb.....later on after played, memory is 7mb.....later on after played again, memory is 12mb....etc, etc.

    How could that happend? Could it be my Webstorages? How can I solve this?

    I want to make (or have) a "Exit game button" function on my app, when it's compiled with Intel XDK Android Crosswalk/Cordova. How can I archieve that?

    In the past I use CocoonJS, which has a automatic exit game function when pressed on the back-button of the device.

    After 8 months working on my very first C2 game (Ninja Gekido), it's finally done and available at Google Play.

    There are "normal" and "EX" version. Normal is free, but with advertisement. While EX cost 0,89 Euro, it's without advertisement. Give it a try and let me know what you think.   • Eyyy your right, thnx! Just like you I have to do it for all the levels. Guess I have to... Hopefully this problem wil not repeat again in the next revision, otherwise we have to do it all over again.

    Another question about Tiles. Maybe you guys know anything about it?

    I have made a very long tile-object (as background). When going from left to right (with my playable object) the farther I go the more pixelate the tile-object shows. It only happens when "Enable WebGL" is set "Off". If "On" then no problem, but I don't use WebGL because Ludei advice me not to use it. Because it's very unstable right now, which will let mobile games crash.

    Does anyone has the same problem? I'm not sure if this is a bug or a just a C2 software limitation. Maybe someone with a solution?

  • That's a good alternative solution, thnx! But still, this isn't right, so it need to be fixed in the next revision of C2.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Tile + jumpthru behaviour set as visible is created. Place on the left side.

    2. Duplicate Tile + jumpthru behaviour but this time set as invisible. Place on the right side.

    3. Now simply drop an object to both tiles, and the invisible let the object go thru which shouldn't allow.

    Observed result:

    Expected result:

    Invisible is the same as visible, only visually invisible. Previous version of Construct 2 worked correctly.
