  • [quote:2n07x8no]Ah, terribly sorry, I guess my mind reading apparatus is broken today.

I didn't realize that it was theme related until working out what could possibly be different between installs.

    Thanks guys,

  • Yes, I have literally just downloaded it from the front page of this website.

Closing the layout window of a new direct-x game causes it to crash. It comes up with the Vista box which says something along the lines of "Construct has stopped working..."

It actually does it for new application as well.

It only seems to do it on the Office 2007 style themes (which it remembered from the previous installation that I had).

  • Hi,

I have just installed the latest version of Construct and happened upon a crash almost immediately. It is easily reproducible:

    • Start Construct
    • Create "New Direct-X Game"
    • Click "X" close button of layout editor (i.e. second "X" button at top-right).
    • CRASH

    Kind regards,

    Lea Hayes

  • Ah yeah, found it. Thanks!

  • In the layout editor the horizontal splitter seems to drag out and reveal the events editor, but as soon as the mouse button is released the following message is shown:

"Error opening the frame editor. Please report this bug to Scirra."

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Thanks for the info, I'll check out the new version!

  • When rotating an image it would be nice if the action points were also rotated. Also it would be good if there were a way to numerically input the location of an action point.

  • Is it possible to enable or disable a behaviour (such as platform movement) using an action (or perhaps script)?

I would like to have two movement behaviours on an object, but switch between the two at runtime.

  • Hey guys!

Wow, this is an amazing game creator. I have used the various version of ClickTeam's game creation tools from the early days of Klik'n'Play to MMF, but this tool seems to supersede them all.

It would be fantastic if it were possible to import *.x files with animation and texture support (i.e. adjustable by events/scripts).

Keep up the great work guys!
