  • We're not planning on supporting this during the beta phase, but we aim to make it possible some time after the stable multiplayer release.

    BTW our own signalling server is running on a dedicated server with a gigabit connection, so you'd have to have a pretty serious server to beat that.

    It's not about powers of the server. If the server is working only as signaling server, it doesn't need to be powerfull, it just needs to have good internet connection. The thing is that I would like to try to run signaling server and host of every room of my games in the VPS. Why? Because ping will be lower when you don't need to choose some random guy to be the host!

    I don't know if this will help..

    Add an instance var to the red buttons as well as button_place in the editor changing the var to a unique no. so the first red button would be 0

    next depending on what you want to do you can add sub conditions to your overlap...

  • I have a problem. I have 2 button images which I clone in my game. I would like to know which red button is over button_place (And I want to know which button_place is under known red button)

  • Manual entry about text object :

    ote if WebGL is enabled in project properties, due to technical limitations all Text objects appear on top of everything else in the game. For example, Sprites cannot be displayed on top of Text objects when WebGL is on, because the text is rendered to an overlay above the game. It is recommended to design your game so it is not necessary for other objects to appear on top of text objects, since turning off WebGL can reduce performance.

    For scrolling some block of text inside a text object I had done this capx a while ago.

  • So I'm making chat with scrollbar. My question is how can I hide chat texts under background (There is little "window" "painted" with alpha channel, where texts should be able to see).

  • Hi! I have problem! ;D

    I have object, lets say "bot". Bot has instance variable named "hp". Now I put "bot" to layout. Then I click it and copypaste by Ctrl+C Ctrl+V. Now I create another object named "player". "Player" can hurt "bot" by shooting it. I understand when bullet hits "bot" as object I can take "bot"'s "hp" away BUT how can I for example move one of all bots to some point without moving all "bot"s?

    That's my problem because without that I need to code a LOT more. (I have paid version of C2. And surprise surprise I have made about 150 events of code under 2 days.)

    A word for moderators: I'm sorry about subject but this is good way to intrest people to read my problem.
