  • Hi there, I am creating this game in witch I am going to have a list of user created levels that the player can play. Sort of like super meat boys TEH INTERNETs but i want it to update automaticly so my question is how can i download a file in node webkit without the save as dialog appearing?

  • Hi there folks i am having this annoying problem with the socket.io plugin.

    I am a delphi programmer and i am trying to set up a server with it.

    So the delphi server works and it is able to recieve data through tcp with socket.io in construct but the send action of the plugin doesnt work.

    When i connect to the server i get this :

    GET /socket.io/1/?t=1368459064951 HTTP/1.1

    Host: localhost:1050

    Connection: keep-alive

    User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.31 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/26.0.1410.64 Safari/537.31

    Origin: localhost

    Accept: */*

    Referer: localhost

    Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate,sdch

    Accept-Language: en-GB,en-US;q=0.8,en;q=0.6

    Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.3

    So i know it is possible for construct to send data to TCP server, but when i use the send action nothing appears.

    Does anybody know why???

  • I have question. I have set up a tcp server in delphi and i can send and receive normal TCP messages but i tried setting it up with this plugin and it can connect fine but it doesnt seem to be able to send data.

    When it connects i get this message :

  • Its not really practical for creating sprites and so forth, but you can create awesome pieces of art.

  • Hi guys i am making a physics platformer and have run into a problem.

    I followed the instructions in this blog post

    And it works great but i want blocks that disappear when stepped on but in construct 2 when i disable physics collisions with the platform i want to disapear my character is still able to collide with it.

    And when i jump and fall on it again i fall through.

    I have the following events.

       Floor | set collisions disabled

       Floor | disable physics collisions with Player

    Help would be appreciated.

    I am aware that there are ways to achive similer resualts but these are based on drawing shadows rather than not drawing shadows.

    So to sum up i want a light that i can move around and it should blend realisticly with other lights.

    Please Help.
