  • Ran into this problem today with sprites. Windows 7. The actual number it starts at is 1025. 1024 px wide and lower is just fine. Same thing happens when 1025 higher px for height. Using latest stable release on steam.

  • Problem Description

    When importing a tiled TMX file with more than 1 tile set is throws this error on all projects. "Error parsing XLM file. Check the file is a valid Tiled TMX file."

    It does nothing. It is a blank project and still throws the error.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Step 1 Drag and drop .tmx file onto Construct 2.
    • Step 2 Error is thrown.
    • Step 3

    Observed Result

    Error is thrown.

    Expected Result

    Error gets thrown.

  • I figured out what's causing the error. It's having two tilesets in tiled at the same time. Once I deleted either my Foreground or Background tile set and just imported with one tileset it worked just fine. Left both in and it breaks.

  • I'm getting the same error too. 5 layers, 2 tilesets, 250x50 32x32 tiled map size.

  • I've never had any problems even with my biggest projects.

    I imagine any 2D game you could do on even the PS2 is possible with Construct. I still haven't hit any real performance limits.

    Really looking forward to this.

    Adding in the ability to do Javascript code snippets would be killer.
