  • Hello blackhornet, could you please be more specific? I didn't quite get your answer! All my creates are on Main (2), only clouds on Layer (1). If I change positions (Main on [1] and Cloud Layer on [2]) The Clouds are above everything on the layer!

  • Hello, and good night construct2 community! I hope you can help me with my question.

This is a game I'm doing right now. I added a new Layer named "Nubes" (clouds in English) where I created some clouds instances on the sky of the game.

I also gave 'em parallax attributes 75,75 so it would move slower than the main layer.

My problem is, that it's affecting the "enemies" from my main Layout. I've tried everything, searched everywhere and when I just thought I nailed it, the horses are moving under the clouds and I couldn't fix it even modifying the Z order :/

Here is the file so you can take a look on it :)

  • <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><font size="2">Hello! First than all, thanks for reading my post!

I'm doing a little game so I can practice and get familiarized with construct2. I'm using sprites from a Castlevania mobile game just for practice purposes.

The problem is regarding those tiles and sprites. Lemme explain my questions:

    1) I found a sprite sheet with all the animations of the character (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/104145932/Belmont/desmond.png). I cut a section of it (the walking animation section, http://dl.dropbox.com/u/104145932/Belmont/walkkk.png) so I could use it as the animation when my object "Player" begins to move (doing the same steps as the platform game tutorial). The problem is that when I try to import it as an animation, it gets it all wrong (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/104145932/Belmont/construct2_output.JPG).

How can I fix it, so that when I import the sprite strip, constuct2 will recognize all of the sprites? Do they need to be at the same distance? How could I do it, is there a program or something? I'm noob at this! I need to know, because in a future I'll have my own sprites and animations and I want to know how to correctly import them!

    2) I want to use some parts of this image as tiles for the floor (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/104145932/Belmont/Castlevania4_05.png). How can I do this?

Million thanks again for reading my post! I hope you can help me!</font></font>

My name is Jonathan; I'm from Venezuela. I work as a Java Programmer, but what I really wanna do is create videogames, even though I'm a n00b at it lol.

Currently I'm testing some ideas with Construct2, so I can familiarize with the program; I hope soon to be making cool videogames!

    See y'all! :)</font>

  • <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><font size="2">AFAIK, there's only one version of Construct2. When you generate the license file, you simply open the program, click the icon to the left of home menu, click about and then you will find on the lower right corner the option to load the license file.

    Hope it works!</font></font>
