  • Yeah, It seems like there's a bunch of .js examples online. But could anyone explain how I could implement one? Is it possible without building an extension?

  • I found a workaround for the pitch detection problem, but it involves strapping a phone to my guitar. It would still be amazing to attach a synth to my vocal pitch in Construct. Are there any possible solutions? It sounds like plenty of other people are also looking for it.

  • Oh sorry, I tried to attach the fade to a tag played with the official audio plugin earlier and it didn't work, so I figured it needed to be played from the helper. But I just tested it then and realized I must have made a mistake. Sorry it's been a very long frustrating day and I'm slowly going crazy. Thanks for getting back to me, and thanks for making all of these awesome plugins!

  • Hi Rex, love your work! Always very useful. I was just wondering if it's possible to get a seek function in this plugin? I'm using the equivalent of audio 'tilesets'. Can't stop the bass channel from popping when it crossfades channels without your plugin, but I can't actually use your plugin in this project without a seek function. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

  • I'm keen to learn this too so... BUMP

  • Try Construct 3

  • I'm sorry if I'm missing something simple, but I've tried all the frequency analyser examples, scoured the internet and already asked on this board. Can't seem to figure it out. I even made my own rough peak detection code, but it was resource heavy and wildy inaccurate. Has anyone worked out how to detect the pitch of user media input?

  • Thanks Lof! I'd completely forgotten about the analyzer object. However after testing it seems like Construct's latency is better, but less consistent. I'll keep testing but it looks like I'll have to learn Pure Data or some other audio language. Cheers.

  • I am in desperate need of a basic pitch/volume detection plugin. I've been gigging with an MMF built live music performance program for 2 years now, but the latency and bugs have just become unbearable, and sometimes extremely embarrassing. I'd make the move to Construct in a heartbeat but this small shortcoming makes it impossible.

All I need is the monophonic pitch and volume of the audio input (guitar/synth). Optionally it'd be great to be able to pick the lowest occurring frequency of a chord but I can see how this would lead to processing problems.

I'm a broke musician, but would be willing to pay if necessary.

    Thanks,
