• I have just come across the same problem as RootKernel here. It would be nice to have a property where we can set the tile uid so we don't have to have multiples of the same tile map.

I have also noticed some really funky behavior in the latest stable and beta versions of C2, where I start painting on Layer 1 and after i change to layer 2 some of the tiles have been painted on the layer 2 ( rather than layer 1)... I hope that makes sense??

  • Hey, Thanks very much Johnny!!! Nice work, I can see where I went wrong now lol

Now to tighten it up - Thats some crazy effect when falling down the side lol :)

  • Hi Guys,

I started with the infinite jumping template and have modified it to reverse (instead of jumping up your "Drop" down)

I have been struggling to make the platforms randomly spawn correctly at the bottom of the screen. Its driving me nuts

I am also having an issue where if you stand on a platform for long enough, you will stop half way up. The platforms then start randomly spawning (the don't start before).

I'm guessing that it has something to do with the MinScroll global variable but for the life of me I cant seem to work it out. Hence turning to you lovely guys in the community.

Here is a link to the (not very) playable state of the current game: ultimatekarnage.com/gamedev/dropping

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :) Thank you in advance!

  • Hey CimaWebDesign, Nice sprite set, perfect for people like me just starting out. Picked me one up :) Cant wait for the arcade game pack ;)

  • You can also download these spritepacks from my website Go to dravenxgames.com . You will find it at the free sprites and resources section.

Good point There is always Dravenx's direct site (where they also have lots of other nice resources too)

  • Hi dragonwing, let me know which packs you would like and I will put them up on my public folder on Google Drive for you (or anyone that needs them) to download :)

  • And how do I transfer the license from the Construct to the Steam?

+1 - I would like to try out the stream workshop features :) (edit: When they become available)

    Congrats guys!

  • Hi Guys, i'm new here (so don't shoot the noob lol). :)

I am having a strange issue when using snap to grid. I am creating a puzzle game and am using and equal grid of 32x32 pixel tiles, I have set my background and used an animated sprite sheet to add the puzzle squares (its a match 3 game) so that they can change colour on click/tap.

The problem I am having is that the squares will not align to the grid correctly so I am unable to place the squares down easily to finish the prototype. I just can't work out what is going wrong.

If anyone can offer some advice I would be most grateful :)

Warning! the colour scheme may hurt your eyes ;) (just temp' place holder graphics for now)
