  • I would suggest drag and drop behavior, in combination with solid behavior. See my game, Build-a-Ramp... It may have what you are looking for, and all that the boxes in that game have are the traits described above!

  • However, similar to the arcade, Scirra did make a place where you can post your sprites and music for free (Your Creations section of the forums)

  • I agree, this would be an intersting idea, but Scirra could possibly get into trouble if you sold someone else's intellectual property through

    Scirra e.g. Steal a sprite

  • Interesting Idea... but i'm not sure that it's update worthy. But hey, let Tom & Ashley be the judge of that :)

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • You could do a loop in which the system generates and destroys a new platform, but you can stop the loop by pressing a key.

  • Excuse my manners, but I didn't catch any of that! Please repeat it in better english, or send me a capx. I'm not trying to be insulting, but I can't help you as of now.

  • WOW very good software for my mac!

  • I will ask mu friends about this one... you might want to consider starting your project over. Since you have all of your assets now, it shouldn't take too long, especially with C2s amazing developing speed. Plus, it will most likely get rid of any bugs in your program. Just go slowly when designing a video game. That way you don't add any unwanted behaviors, or mess up an event.

  • I'm sorry, but what do you mean by sprite strips? Of course, the size of your sprite can be unlimited, by adjusting the size using the properties bar to the right of the screen.

  • Try this:

If mouse.x , mouse.y is (location of object) action: "play animation a"

    (default animation="play animation b"

  • Well Tom, I think that the person with the most potential and the need for a license the most should receive a copy. That way, the people who really need one can get one.

    Ways you could judge this:

    Introduction is good

How many games published on Scirra

How dedicated the person is to Scirra/Game Making

    etc.

  • I wish that I could do this for you, but I don't use an Android. However, I will talk to my friends and tell them about it. Hopefully that will get you some feedback...

  • Yeah, you can definately use this idea for a future game, I definately see potential in it. However, in order to be a true sandbox game, you must be able to create something, and show it off. This game has a few limitations.

    My Suggestions:

    Better Sprites

    not bound to layout

    title page (home screen)

character is able to place blocks

This would make a great update, reply to my comment with the updated capx attached, and i will rate it 5 stars and comment :)

  • Yes, a capx is basically a caproj that is compacted into one tiny file. The user will be able to get the sounds inside the file when they open it in construct2 in the Projects Bar.

  • I see... well, It might be worth it in the long run, who knows? but yeah, I see your logic guys.
