  • Thanks, but I think that got patched, I tried exactly what Dramamini said, and I still got the same CORS issue in the console.

  • Yes, Google recently disabled CORS, which allows a server to request a file or output from their servers. (from what I understand, correct me if I'm wrong). I am trying to find a workaround to this, but haven't found anything that works.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

  • Thanks to both of you! I got that working. Now I am realizing that my biggest problem is actually that I can't actually access the .CSV from the Google Sheet.

When I request the .CSV, I get an error in the console saying that CORS is blocking the request.

Is there a way to enable CORS in Google Sheets?

I understand that it is a problem with Google Sheets not allowing another server to access my spreadsheet.

  • I am trying to make a high score table in my game, and I decided to use Google Sheets.

I followed the helpful tutorial by dop2000 to send data to a spreadsheet, and that works great, but now I am stuck, I can't convert the CSV output into an array that I can display.

I tried using the tutorial suggested at the end of the first one to read from the Google sheet, but it was made for Construct 2, and uses a plugin made for Construct 2.

How can I convert the CSV to an array? Or is there some easier way to do this?

    Thanks!
