Actually, iOS 5 is old, then iOS 6 is better and improved canvas performance

  • Use Opacity as workaround

  • Simple Games for Windows 8 Tablet would be enough like running HTML5 games on Mobile.

    thehen Thanks for useulf advice!

  • Well this is totally weird - I just downloaded a full 3d game which has way more going on called hydro thunder and it runs really, really smooth like 30fps! So why are 2d games performing so poorly I wonder...

I guess Hydro Thunder uses C# as Native, i guess Microsoft doesn't care about Javascript performance and don't use V8.

  • That's odd, are you using Android?

  • Microsoft really ****** whatever they keep trolling us

  • Congrats! now keep updating!

  • I will upload 2 tests:

    1- Without loader layout

    2- With loader layout

    To try your iOS device.

We will compare them one can work offline, give me a moment.

  • It's an issue for iOS devices, how to stop alert "connection required" after of "Add to Home Screen" which it includes offline appcache, the problem is it cannot run the games when wifi is off.

It's a game with loader layout.

Do you know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

  • Ashley one more important thing, when users save the games using add to home screen, then run games once time and when wifi is not avaliable, the game runs but it says internet connection required, it's supposed to be offline mode.

  • Yeah, it would be handy if it did the meta tags for you... I'll see if I can sort that out for a future build.

    Good!

it would be nice idea about html5 games for mobiles without publishing to app store.

  • Joannesalfa here is an example that gammabeam made a while back maybe it will help:

    Multiple resolutions - solid example.capx

If your already to far into your game to try this. I have had good luck with making the background, and some graphics extend beyond the games layout size by a few hundred pixels or more in all directions. This will give the illusion that your game is in full screen but your games actual playing area will still be the same as before.

    Nice one!

It applies the beauty of the background for any resolution, i doubt if the game could strecth to maximum X & Y

  • There a bug about fullscreen position differences between preview mode and export mode.

    Preview Mode stays center forever.

Exported Mode, after of request fullscreen, it goes to left of the screen and then cancel fullscreen, it still stays on left.

Please don't close this thread, i will upload a .capx soon because im very busy with other projects and i keep this thread to help me do not forget.
