  • Fixed. I needed to add the physics behavior to the platform as well!

  • I'm using the Platform behavior. I tried adding the physics behavior, but it still "unrotatable".

  • Thank you

  • Thanks

  • Thanks!

  • I had an idea. Maybe I make an invisible sprite for each half, and use the 'on touching/holding obj' 'do this' condition. But I have to make it be moving with the camera, so wherever I go on the layout, they follow.

  • I want to split the phone's touch screen on the left and right thumb area. So each thumb is on half of the screen. The left one is the movement and the right one is other actions. How do I make it so only when I swipe on the left half of the screen, the player moves?

Hello friends! In this topic, I'm going to discuss game marketing. What are all the strategies used to make it go? I have brainstormed many, and I think that SEO for your platform, crowdfunding and some minimal advertising on social media if not none, should work right? It's still early for me, but I'm beating my head around these because I'm really working hard on my project. edit: I really don't want to spend on Facebook. Press release notes... I'm totally new to that

  • Thanks you, can you explain the qard one too?

  • Yeah I would say that having many points on the surface isnt a good way to make the game fast. But I think that qarp and other that you said might be mathematical formulas to make a wave? I'm not much of a programmer, but as an artist I think that's what it means lol, taking from vector graphics

  • Okay, thanks, I'll keep following

  • I think there are many levels there that can be a source of inspiration lol

  • Thanks for all the responses!

  • Hi, thanks for reading. In this topic, I would like to discuss about the possibility of making games with rather different physics. In snowboarding games, the main character seems to slide through a never ending, random generated line in a wavy fashion. I assume maybe some mathematical formulas are involved in doing the terrain. The same goes to Tiny Wings. I wonder how could I make a level with that physics and terrain. Also there is another game, Worms. In it, when the terrain gets hit with projectiles, it leaves a hole, generally round. How can I do that? Thanks

  • You have the same idea I envision my game. A platform with a lot of puzzles. I just need to make the game art lol. Although Construct 2 was limited for mobile, they totally remade the new runtime from scratch, making it way faster. So you might as well be able to make the game run well for mobile. Keep in mind that the phone hardware counts. So a PearPhone or Planet S would be able to run well.
