  • Really nice example. I downloaded the plugins as well, never used one before. Opened my eyes as to what is possible. Thanks for sharing this.

  • I have only published for Windows 8 and Windows phone so far, so I don't know how you would advertise them any better than being in the stores. But I have started to dabble in Android publishing now and am starting to look for how to monetize my apps a little broader now.

Your service looks interesting, but doesn't address how to make money off the advertising. I think a lot of developers assume people will find them through a store (I know better).

I actually built this mostly following tutorials. Now that I have my feet wet I have several games I want to build. This was sort of my "go end to end" first project. I have it built for Android, but haven't published it yet. I am still trying to figure out the IOS side of things (don't own a Mac). Would also like to publish here online, just haven't taken the time to figure that out yet either. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">

I have to say that I am VERY impressed with Scirra. I built 90% of the game on a plane from Seattle to Boston. The rest was figuring out how to do a start screen, help screen, high score tracking, etc. The core of the game was just so easy to get up and running. Very impressed.
