  • I'd love to see it implemented on the next C2 build...

    Thanks a lot, thehen!

Thanks for the info! Works like a charm for the .exe. I just couldn't change the titlebar icon... :(

    Anyway, thanks for your help!

  • Hello!

How do I change the .exe icon of my desktop application? It always shows the "compass" icon and I'd like to use a icon of my own. Is it possible to change the html5 icon that show on title bar?

    Thanks!

This.capx and That.capx are the same example (at least for me). Maybe I'm missing something in the event sheet. Would you mind to re-download them and check if I'm correct?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Sorry for posting on an old post but JohnnySix, could you please post the .capx for the example on this link? johnnysix.net/games/MouseDemoX

I want to make a image to scroll like in this game (http://www.pastelportal.com/stories/game.php?id=10gnomes_01) and I think it's possible to achieve it using the movement you applied on the top sprite (the one that looks like a robot).

    Thanks in advance!

  • Sorry for bumping this post but I still haven't found an answer or any kind of how-to. If possible, can someone help me?

Just to add more information, the .xml will be packaged with the ".exe" and the game will not run from a server.

  • Hello!

Here goes my very first post!

I'm trying to use the XML plugin to show text on screen, each line when a buttom is pressed or touch happens (like in a visual novel).

Already browsed these topics for answers:

    construct.net/en

    construct.net/en

    construct.net/en

    liquid-technologies.com/xml-tutorial

    construct.net/en

The example on the second link loads the entire xml and shows on screen. I'd like to create a xml with all the in-game text and load each line (or paragraphs) one by one or set the pace that the letters are displayed not all at the same time. I never used any kind of parser. Ren'py or Novelty doesn't allow me (not as easy as in C2) to add gameplay or effects.

Is there an example that shows how to achieve this?

If not, can someone point me the direction?

Is there another way to achieve this?

    Thanks in advance!
