  • I am not sure how this would help? Construct handles variables like any other IDE I have used for the most part. Some have the option of looking at different variable views, but never needed them (others might). Most of the dialogs work fine with auto-complete.

    Just wondering what benefit it would give. I keep my functions super small, so I always can see all my local variables as I go. Only thing missing is global variables, but I have never ever found myself scrolling through my code to look at them.

  • What is the recommended way to get background music to load consistently?

    I have background music imported to the music folder. I tried loaded it on start layout, I also tried having preload of the music on load, then once preload is done to play the background music. In both scenarios, with edge, chrome, and windows phone the music does not always load. If I reload the continuously, it sometimes starts playing and othertimes does not.

    Does anyone have any suggestions on making the background music load more stable?

    If it helps, the background music is a constant loop of a 5 second clip.

    You can do so by editing the plugin ( I don't think it has it natively).

If you want to just edit all markers, it is simple. If you want to edit them via the event sheets, there is a little more to it.

  • I am sure most of you heard of that $1.4 million TSA App which was just a random arrow on the screen. I was bored, so I made a quick and dirty version in under 5 minutes and 5 lines of code. There is plenty of room for improvement, but maybe I will spend the other $1,399,998 on improvements (I bought an energy drink).
